Hello! I’m Carrie Schaefer, a printmaker and illustrator living in northern Minnesota. I'm also a proud mama of three wild and wonderful kids and a keeper of many chickens. Much of my inspiration comes from the forests, Lake Superior, wildlife, and the ever changing moods of this place I call home.

I love capturing the feeling of the outdoors: quiet trails, rustling trees, loon calls on the lake, and bringing a bit of that magic in. My hope is to create a sense of connection and joy for those who experience my work, and I am honored to share it with the world.
